Developers
A Java, C#, .Net, and Oracle Software Developer is responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects. Typically sitting within the IT team of a business, a Software Developer will be involved in liaising with the Business Analysts and Development Managers to ensure software projects meet requirements.
Experience and Education Requirements:
A degree and a technical background should be required to gain a Software Developer role. Degrees in the following subjects should be highlighted as particularly advantageous:
- Computer Science
- Computer Software Engineering
- Software Programming and
- Development
- Engineering
- Mathematics
- Electronics
- Physics
Techinal and Non-Techinical Requirements:
- Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
- Testing and evaluating new programs
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Determining operational practicality
- Developing quality assurance procedures
- Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
- Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts
- Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly
An analytical mind - The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data
Business Consultant
Skilled Business Analyst assist with the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. He identifies problems and opportunities within a company and ultimately provides solutions that help achieve the business’ goals.
Business Consultant conducts market analysis both product lines and the overall business. In addition, he develops and monitors data quality metrics and ensures business data and reporting needs are met. Strong technology, analytical and communication skills are must-have traits.
The Business Consultant must be responsible for:
- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
- Planning and monitoring
- Variance Analysis
- Reporting
- Defining business requirements
- The role also calls for a strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Business Consultant requires a Bachelor degree minimum. Whilst any degree is advantageous, the following subjects are useful as they are in a similar field:
- Business Studies
- Business Administration
- Management
- Information Technology
There are also a number of industry-recognised certificates aspiring Business Analysts can acquire too.
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Experience working with senior decision makers
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Proven analytical background
- Advanced Excel skills
Core Banking Consultant
Participate in requirement elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify requirement gaps/issues (both functional and non-functional) in order to come up with a comprehensive requirement document. Knowledge of Agile Methodology would be an added advantage.
Create Process Maps, Presentations, Requirements documents
Participate in architecture review sessions to provide inputs to architecture team through framework analysis, design patterns, prototype specifications in order to be able to create High level design specification.
Prepare Test scenarios/ test plans and perform test execution and ensure that the software is meeting the desired quality.
Build repository of team’s collective knowledge, seek information and leverage knowledge from other projects in order to drive higher efficiency, effectiveness and preserve organization’s knowledge. Participate in analysis of incoming cases/tickets, assign tickets to team members, track fixing of tickets and verification of the fixes, tracking of SLAs, performing root cause analysis of defects and elimination of root causes, running process improvement initiatives such as Brite initiative to reduce defects in order to close production issues and improve application/system/infrastructure performance
Experience and Education Requirements:
- 4+ years of consulting and / or Banking Process experience
- 2+ years of leading / managing a workstream on enterprise implementations
- Ability to travel to client sites 80-100% of the time.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent number of years of experience.
Non-Technical Requirements:

- Advanced Excel skills
Core Banking Technical Architect
Responsible for translating business requirements into specific system, application or process designs, including working with business personnel and senior management to identify functional requirements and in developing business justification.
- Define the solution architecture and generate the required architecture artifacts and documentation (e.g. diagrams, solution architecture document, communication slides) for projects.
- Provide technical leadership and architecture oversight for the project team.
- Ensure alignment of the solution architecture with the strategic IT vision and enterprise architecture.
- Lead the project through technology governance processes such as an enterprise architecture committee review. Be able to explain and defend the architecture design choices made.
- Deliver Architecture solutions in a Banking and/or Financial Services environment at the highest-level technical expertise.
- Support the enterprise architecture team on strategic initiatives as required.
- Build support for the technical solution.
- Create and present technical information in order to influence and gain the understanding of business as well as technical roles across the organization.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Required Experience
- 10+ year’s technology, data, application architecture experience with retail and/or commercial banking systems.
- 5+ year’s of working knowledge with core banking applications.
- Experience with two or more of the following technologies: APIs, microservices, security, mainframe, middleware, case management.

Bachelor’s Degree
